CEMENT TESTING

Cement is essentially a binder used with aggregates and sand to produce concrete, or with fine aggregates to produce mortar for masonry. Cements used in construction are often comprised of lime or calcium silicate and combined with fly ash. They can be classified into two categories, namely hydraulic (e.g. Portland cement) and non-hydraulic, according to their ability to set in water. It is essential to test the parameters of cement and identify the characteristics of each composition. Lung Hing offers cement sample preparation and testing equipment that meets the requirements prescribed by the industry standards.
